Sim City
Anyone else bought/buying this?
I know its evil EA/Origin with always on content but all the vids I've seen still make it look interesting enough to buy.
If there is any interest I might start up a special YO region for us to play in once it launches tomorrow.

3 hour queues, server disconnects and city rollbacks.
I'll buy it in few months if they manage to fix their shit.

I want to play it. I also don't want to support EA/origin and all that goes with it. Might get it off some good sale later, after they have made the game playable

That which does not kill you, hurts like hell.

Re: Sim City
I've got it and I'd say it's worth it, there's something addicting about it; yet theres something missing without other players
.
The server issues are fixed now (mostly).
Anyone want to start a YO region I'd happily partake

I've just created a private region on the Antarctica server for us, give me a poke on Origin if you want access - my username there is TheMrYiff

I used watch CSI a lot and when this episode was on it amused me greatly so I stole the idea: http://www.tv.com/shows/csi-crime-scene ... ng-273258/
And for the record, the furriest thing I own is a fleece jumper!
Re: Sim City
Hah, I hate that. I found a random Sony Online account while recovering my PS2 account yesterday.
I'm impressed by the CSI story - pretty good excuse given the speed of it!

Re: Sim City
I've not had any issues getting on a server all weekend so if that's all that was stopping you from buying it id say go for it.princess wrote:Have the problems been ironed out? Shall I buy it now?
That's not to say that there aren't other issues, there are plenty of bugs and general wierdness still but I don't think it will stop you enjoying the game at all (just don't try and build a gambling city as all the advanced gambling houses are bugged and dont ever generate profit).

Re: Sim City
Yeah, the only reason that is on there is for accounts that are age locked which automatically get that and Sim City 4, god knows why you would pick that as your free game given the choice, I think il be getting Dead Space 3, not sure if I will play it much but its probably the most recent game on the list.Scant.en wrote:MrYiff wrote:Bejeweled 3

Re: Sim City
I don't think I want any of those games. Is it possible to gift games through origin? In case someone else wants one of them?
Re: Sim City
Nope, no way to gift and it will get locked to your account.princess wrote:I don't think I want any of those games. Is it possible to gift games through origin? In case someone else wants one of them?
