Symbian S60 Mobile Games

Post by CheesyPeteza » Thu Mar 19, 2009 5:25 pm

Some of the games on my mobile

Townsmen 5 - played all the previous ones on my mobile. Lots of fun for a week until you finish it.
EA Tetris Ultra - Lots and lots of fun. Stopped playing after I couldn't get a higher score (22468 on 3 min game)
Frozen Bubble - Fun, but just too easy and too slow... I like fast games
Snood Blaster - Fun for about a month till I finished it. Didn't feel like playing it again.
Lemmings - Fun, but too easy which means it takes ages. need short games
Lab Hamster - Didn't really understand this game, was fun for a day
Super Pacman - My current favourite, really enjoying it, if I do well a 20 min game max.

Anyone got any recommendations?

Yeah definately. Loads of programs you can get for your phone. It's S60v3. You can even get TomTom for it, you just need to buy a bluetooth gps receiver for about £25.

Anything that works on the N95 will work on the N73 (except for the n-gage apps)

Had a look around yesterday and it's still pretty worthless. Most games either suck or aren't made for touchscreens and you get them in a tiny window with a virtual joystick on the side. Gotta wait for Nokia to release N-Gage for touchscreens so we can play all the good stuff. :D (You can hack N-Gage onto it, but I'm not gonna do that.)

virtual on-screen joysticks are awful... i tried some games with really good production values on the iphone and the controls made them completely awful.

I've had the 5800 since it came out. I'm loaded with games and apps.

I have an Amiga emulator, and SCUMM reader so I can play all the old classics on it like Monkey island - even with touch & music/sound.

I'm mostly playing Tetris and Worms tho.
